After a well needed, zombie like sleep, the first since I left Paris 36 hours prior, I woke up, had some breakfast and met the rest of the team. They had all arrived while I was sleeping, getting to the hotel at 3:00 a.m.
There were two items on our agenda for the day. One, we would attend Kolkata Christian Fellowship church and two, we would visit Sanlaap, an aftercare facility for rescued girls.
Church was cool. It was weird to see that they sing the same songs across the globe as I do at my church. There was a guest pastor on this day. He was a nice man, but a long service.
“Amen?”
“Amen” we replied.
I think Amen means, “it is finished” or something like that. He wasn’t finished.
He answered, “But that’s not all. There’s more…”
I spent the rest of the sermon doodling in my notebook. I’m bad.
